I'm Paul from Canada, a retired Author. I've only been at this about 4
months now, and I've hit the ground running. I'm only really getting around
to visiting all the forums now. I still have a lot to learn but I'm getting
there.

All the best,

Bill Jackson - Friday, February 16th, 2007 7:39 PM
My name is Bill Jackson, and I operate a website called www dot storyofmyhome dot com. My site gathers historical information on specific homes and neighborhoods across the US and Canada as told by the home owners and neighbors. As such, it offers first-person accounts about people that are almost 100% certain to be unique and unavailable in any other forum.

I just want to make you aware of my site in case you ever had a need to search for local history, or if you had any suggestions for how to make it more useful to potential homebuyers, researchers and history buffs.

Dear Jenny, I've enjoyed reading your site, and was just wondering if you might be the same Jenny who with her friend Anne so delighted us with your music back in School for Scottish Arts in Banner Elk, N.C. ... must be 1971 or so. I've a photo or two you might enjoy if you're the one and same!

We are so lucky to have you as a part of our family. Thank you so much for the great entertainment over the "Fourth of July" up at the AuSable River in Oscoda, Michigan. You have helped us create memories that will last a lifetime. You know you are a great entertainer Jennifer, when you sit down around a campfire and the first words out of a teenage girl is "I have a request from a story you told last year". That touched my heart. They love you young and old. Keep up the great work. We love you here in Michigan!!!!! Dianne

Falcon o'Hara - Saturday, March 6th, 2004 11:23 PM
Hello, Jennifer. I'd like to tell you about a performance I went to recently at the Conservatory of Music here in Victoria. Benjamin Bagby, an American who grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and who now lives in Europe, gave a performance of the first part of Beowulf which, if you haven't already heard it, I think you would love. Like Carry the Song, his performance was 85 minutes long with no intermission. He accompanied himself with a six string harp modeled on one discovered in a grave site from medieval Germany. That's it. It was extraordinary. I couldn't help thinking of you when I heard him. He's working on memorizing and performing the whole piece. That might be extraordinary, too.

Thanks for listening. Hope you're well.

Falcon

Mary Ann Malloy - Sunday, February 15th, 2004 4:40 PM
Hey Jenny

Just watched your entire performance from the Kennedy center website - great - so nice to see you again. I really enjoyed it and some stories I won't forget... (the woman and the song, fiddle, bagpipe story)...
Was cleaning out stuff, ran across info from the storytelling workshop I took in your house in evanston and looked you up on the internet. Remember the Feldenkrais workshop with the guy from Belgium?Eventually I completed the Feldenkrais training ...am now working for United Airlines.

Good to hear you and really enjoyed your performance by video. If you ever get a chance check out David Cale -character actor and performance artist extrordinaire.

Take care .. you are an inspiration.

Laura - Thursday, November 13th, 2003 1:40 AM

Dear Jennifer,
What a beautiful website. Congratulations on your ongoing, beautiful work.
This past Sunday I sang Holding Gladness at Quaker meeting here in Victoria (B.C.) Several people came up after and asked about it, so I hope they come to your website and put in their orders.

cheers and love

Falcon

Those who hold the power to lift a soul and share their precious moments in this journey of life are truly Blessed. For some moments my soul was yours, traveling trhough the most beautiful Valley of simple life and amazing emotions. Because of you, I danced with a stranger and held their hand while seated, I saw the empty basket and learned to appreciate what iI have, I was able to look at a Pipper marching and feel the strenght within their hearts. And even found my three things in life. For a few moments I was lucky enough to step out of myself and forget who and were I was, and returned with the peace you shared and I was previledged to absorb. Thank you Jennifer Armstrong and may your journey continue touching lives with such splendor.
Simplemente Maravilloso!
Bravo!
un eterno admirador,
nestor echeandia

I sent you an email with a notice about pictures from the reunion (July - Vermont)posted on the internet. I left instructions on how to access the site. If you want any pictures from the albums, you can order them through the site or I can send you a CD with all the pictures on them. Sure was great having you there!

Holly Trueblood - Thursday, October 24th, 2002 6:51 PM
Dear Jennifer, recieved your CD's and poetry book yesterday. Didn't realize you'd lost your mom now, too. Your poems made me weep unabashedly--can't wait to share the book with Debbie. So glad to have updated my "Jenny" collection with the CDs. I've missed your songs since Debbie absconded with the tapes when she grew up. Hoping you get some great gigs in chicago in December so we can come and see you.
